Confidentiality Agreement for Customer Data
Computerdokter/CreaCom ICT places great importance on protecting your privacy and ensuring the confidentiality of the data you entrust to us. This confidentiality agreement has been drawn up to inform you about how we handle your personal and business data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data Confidentiality
Computerdokter/CreaCom ICT (hereinafter “the Company”) undertakes to treat all data provided by the customer (hereinafter “the Customer”) as strictly confidential. This includes all information related to the hardware, software, documents, passwords, personal data, and any other digital content on the Customer’s equipment.
2. Use of Data
The data provided by the Customer will be used solely for the purposes for which it was provided, namely the execution of computer repairs and support services. The Company will not disclose any data to third parties unless necessary for the performance of the agreed services or required by law.
3. Data Security
The Company will take all reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Customer’s data against unauthorised access, loss, or theft. This includes the use of encryption techniques, secure storage methods, and strict access controls.
4. Access to Data
Only authorised employees of the Company will have access to the Customer’s data. These employees are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Company’s security protocols.
5. Data Deletion
Upon completion of the services, the Company will securely and permanently delete all temporary copies of the Customer’s data unless the Customer has requested otherwise.
6. Breach Reporting
In the event of a data breach or security incident that may affect the Customer’s data, the Company will promptly notify the Customer and take the necessary measures to limit the impact and prevent recurrence.
7. Legal Obligations
The Company will only disclose the Customer’s data if required to do so by law or if necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or order from a competent authority.
8. Customer Rights
The Customer has the right to request access to their data, make corrections, or request the deletion of their data held by the Company. For such requests, the Customer can contact the Company using the contact details provided below.
9. Applicable Law
This confidentiality agreement is drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this confidentiality agreement will be submitted to the competent court in The Hague.
